*waves* *again* *oops*
Dec. 15th, 2016 03:14 pmok, so after the radio silence... guess who is home!
I am sitting here on my bed - which I am going to sleep in every night for the forseeable future - with my dog curled up beside me (well, stretched out, it's hot), and a bird just flew into the window.
After 22 hours of flights (plus transit) I am home.
It's been an amazing six months. I got to meet so many amazing people! (a coupe of lj buds,
milly_gal,
anactoria), a handful of tumblr friends, traveled to places I have never been, at some good (and some interesting) food, and just had an amazing time in general.
But...
I am glad to be home.
And in a way? It's just a new adventure. Gotta find a job, somewhere to live, and save up for the next thing, which (provisionally) is 8 weeks in the US in 2018.
God... that makes me sound terrible...
But really. It has been amazing, and there is something to be said for sleeping in your own bed, and knowing you don't have to pack everything up tomorrow.
